Following a decade spent as a professional goalkeeper, counting Dundee Utd, Dundee, Alloa and Clyde as some of his former clubs. John decided that he wanted to give something back to the goal keeping community.  Being involved in the professional game, from academy to pro John has over two decades of elite goal keeping experience 12 of which was spent in the professional arena. With this history he knew that he could provide young goalies with not only a top quality, technical approach but also provide them with a routemap through the Pro Youth and Professional game, along with other areas, equally as important but rarely provided. Those areas of GK mentality, thinking like a professional athlete, GK specific strength and conditioning can also be provided for, in the hopes that all areas can be developed together rather than simply focussing on the same tired, old GK drills.

 

From 6-16 John can take the young GK on a journey from newcomer to technically proficient. For those young keepers, of an Elite level, John can not only help you with your Pro Youth journey but also provide two decades of his own experience, providing not only GK advice but general understanding of the trials and tribulations that come with aspiring to the elite of any sport.
